  1. Open the application.
  2. Select Continue with Google and use the Google account matching your invitation.
  3. If you followed a ticket or mention link, Nearer returns you to that destination after authentication, provided you still have access.

There is no public signup. If access is refused, ask your administrator to check the invitation address, account suspension and project membership. A Google sign-in alone does not grant project access or authorize Gmail sending.

Roles and project access

Role Typical responsibilities
Site administrator Accounts, invitations, site integrations, backups and AI controls; project administration
Project manager Project configuration, workflows, boards, releases, shared dashboards and corrections requiring management permission
Member Create and update tickets, comment, log time and request reviews within project permissions
Viewer Read accessible content; use personal favourites and accessible dashboard views without project write access

Membership applies to search, board tickets, attachments, counts, notifications and reports. A shared view never grants membership in another project. Owners and assigned reviewers can have additional action-specific restrictions.

Use the project selector in the sidebar before opening project configuration, releases or workflows. My focus and Inbox bring together accessible personal work. Dashboards, Boards & sprints, and Tickets & queries provide different views of shared records.

An administrator opens Site settings from the cog beside the top-right avatar. Project settings belongs to the selected project. The sidebar role text describes access; it is not a settings button. Documentation in the sidebar or account menu opens these public guides, including on mobile.

Favourite useful views

Select the star on a board, saved query or dashboard. Favourites are personal and available across devices. Expand the corresponding sidebar category to see them; its main navigation action still works separately.

Favourites span accessible projects, with project labels to distinguish duplicate names. Opening a board or shared dashboard selects its project context. Removed or inaccessible items disappear. Sidebar expansion preferences are remembered in that browser for your account.

Personal preferences

Open the avatar menu for appearance, email preferences and sessions. The app supports light and dark themes; public documentation uses the light theme. Email preferences affect eligible notifications, not project permissions. Review sessions when a device is no longer trusted.

First Harbor task

Select SAMPLE, open Tickets & queries, and search for customer-portal work. Open a ticket, review its description and acceptance criteria, and inspect its dependencies before moving it. If a transition is blocked, use the explanation to resolve the exact missing requirement.
